Argus are professionals at installing the highest standards of Fire detection, and security systems for all types of commercial properties. Argus currently maintain systems for many commercial customers sites, including, offices, workshops, warehouses, and also some of the UKs largest distribution centres.

Argus engineers all carry ECS cards demonstrating their ability to work safely in high risk environments, all engineers carry full PPE in their vehicles at all times.

Argus have been working in the retail sector for over 20 years,  working on customers sites on high streets, retail parks and large shopping centres. Argus engineers have experience working in some of the country’s largest shopping centres, including the Trafford Centre,  Liverpool One,  Manchester Arndale and London’s Westfield shopping Centre.

For over 30 years Argus have worked in the Education sector.  Argus currently maintain Fire and Security systems for many schools  including, Local authority run Schools, Grammer Schools, Private Schools and independently run schools.

Food Production and storage facilities require a certain level care, and knowledge. Argus maintain sites for many food and drink producers across the UK, including Pilgrims UK one of the UKs largest processed food producers. Over many years working in this industry Argus has gained the experience and expertise to work safely and hygienically on these types of sites, using only appropriate materials and equipment in food preparation areas, such as 316 grade stainless steel, metal detectable fixings, food grade sealant and weatherproof equipment. Argus have a wealth of experience identifying and installing only appropriate equipment which is fit for each environment, including IP67 rated sounders, intrinsically safe, stainless steel heat probes, aspirating systems, and linear heat cable.

Argus’s experience working with food and alcohol storage facilities includes, distribution centres, bonded warehouses, and freezer stores, each requiring different design and protection considerations. In 2024 Argus were proud to secured contracts with the UKs leading wholesale food supplier, installing and maintain the Intruder alarms and Fire detection systems on their sites across the North of England.

For over 30 years Argus have been working in the Health and Medical sector. Argus customers include, NHS Foundation Trusts, Private Medical companies, Cosmetic Surgery Companies and local health centres.

Argus have been installing and maintaining systems on Petrol stations for over 25 years. Over this time, we gave gained experience installing intruder alarms, fire alarms and CCTV. Our CCTV solutions include local recording, off site recording, ANPR, Fuel Pump Management and vehicle recognition. Our fuel pump management solutions are perfect for unmanned forecourts, where our experienced operator’s can control the fuel pump dispensing remotely from a central control room.
